Protection and relief for testers
The Kipp-Tester is a compact device for testing the stability of standing monuments: you take the transport case with the Kipp-Tester, go to the cemetery, carry out the tests and enjoy this practical and, moreover, inexpensive testing device . . .
Handling aid – a sensible accessory
However, if you have many monuments to test and have to guide the Kipp-Tester over a longer period of time, possibly in an awkward posture and with physical effort, this can be tiring and lead to long-term physical damage. Sore muscles and back pain can easily be avoided with the so-called handling aid for the Kipp-Tester. The handling aid works like a tripod and you make use of leverage. This protects against premature exhaustion, which should considerably increase the testing speed and the daily testing workload. The frame of the approx. 150 cm high handling aid is made entirely of rust-free square tube, all connections are firmly bolted. As with a double-T, approx. 30 cm long crossbars are bolted to the lower and upper end of the standing part; fixed with your feet and held with your hands, they ensure correct and fatigue-free testing even over a longer period of time. At one end of the vertical tube there is also a ground spike with which the handling aid can be fixed in the ground – everything has been thought of. The Kipp-Tester can be adjusted continuously in height along the vertical square tube; the required test force is easy to maintain and can be read off conveniently.
