Calibration + maintenance
… certified and sealed
We carry out calibration, maintenance and, if necessary, repairs properly and professionally in accordance with ISO 9001.
Please mark your Kipp-Tester(s) and your case* clearly and legibly with the name and address of the owner. Additional costs will be incurred if you do not send us your Kipp-Tester in the ORIGINAL transport case (approx. 40 x 30 x 10 cm); in such cases we are not liable for transport damage!
* The transport case should only contain your Kipp-Tester with two handles between the foam pads – we do not need anything else, and that is all we are liable for in the event of damage and/or loss!

The Kipp-Tester is a measuring instrument used to implement legal requirements and to monitor compliance with them. In case of doubt, testers bear the burden of proof and must be able to demonstrate, among other things, that the measurements and tests were carried out correctly in accordance with the legal requirements using suitable testing tools. To protect yourself in this delicate situation, send your Kipp-Tester to us once a year – ideally outside your "testing season" – for calibration (incl. maintenance). During this service, the accuracy of the test force is checked and any deviations are corrected. Of course, our calibration station is also calibrated, and if required we will gladly provide the certificate as evidence. The performance of our calibrations is certified with a test seal on the Kipp-Tester and you receive a test certificate documenting the serial number of the calibrated device as well as the date and validity period of the calibration. So if, for example, your test or its result is questioned by a grave user or your insurance company, or even legally contested in court proceedings, you can refer to the test seal and the test certificate.
In the calibration process, your Kipp-Tester is technically restored to the condition it had as a new device upon delivery; should parts need to be replaced or repairs carried out, you will receive a separate quote from us – repair work would only begin once you have clearly placed the order.
Even if you want to change the test force from 300 newtons to 500 newtons or vice versa, this can be done at no extra cost as part of the calibration, because after the changeover your Kipp-Tester must be calibrated to the new test force anyway.
